The VISIONCHECK 2000K control station is equipped with a latest-generation industrial controller capable of processing the acquired images in real time, generating the control response in a few milliseconds.
The possibility of connecting a very high number of cameras, the possibility of customizing the lighting system and the complete configurability of the acquisition software and processing allows a very high system flexibility, guaranteeing the possibility to face all the problems of industrial control with a single artificial vision system.
The use of processing algorithms based on artificial intelligence and neural networks allow for maximum simplification of learning, programming and operational management.

Checking and verifying the integrity of labels and electronic components is a widely used function in the electronics manufacturing industry.
Vision systems also allow for the control of the correct positioning and orientation of labels, carried out simultaneously with the integrity check.
VISIONCHECK 2000K also allows aesthetic control with color discrimination and/or character recognition (OCR).

Check for defects, presence of contaminated or dents.
In continuous products, vision systems can be successfully used to check for defects, bumps, dents, color changes, contaminants and shape irregularities.
The check takes place in real time over the entire surface of the product even when the product is moving or subject to vibrations.

Check for surface defects or irregularities
The VISIONCHECK 2000K vision system allows the verification of the presence of surface defects or irregularities on the surface with identification of the distribution of defects.
It is possible to calculate in real time the size of the defect, the distribution on the surface and any anomalous concentrations of defects per unit of surface.
In this way it is possible to discard the product based on a sum of weighted parameters: size of the defects, location, frequency.

Dimensional and shape control and comparison with mathematical model
In the production of mechanical components, whether metallic or plastic, compliance with dimensional and geometric tolerances is of fundamental importance.
With the VISIONCHECK 2000K vision system it is possible to carry out dimensional and geometric checks and comparison with a DXF mathematical model to determine non-conformity areas.
Furthermore, it is possible to extract the dimensional characteristics of interest and compare them with the reference mathematical model with a relative control report.

Identification of loose objects and verification of orientation
In industrial automation, it is very important to be able to identify the position and orientation of loose objects placed on moving walkways, containers, boxes or pallets.
Applications are often associated with ROBOT driving operations and Cartesian Pick & Place axis control.
Vision systems allow the extraction of reference coordinates and angular coordinates for direct input with ROBOT.
Often the vision system uses AI recognition combined with computer vision to allow the control of the object even in the presence of small differences from the learned model.

Control and discrimination of colors
Vision systems can be used for color discrimination or to identify the correct color of objects.
In these cases, multichromatic illumination is used to discriminate particular characteristics of the product or to discriminate the colour determined by the change in contrast with the incident light.
A wide choice of colors and wavelengths are available for comparative testing (red, green, yellow, blue, infrared, ultraviolet, white).

Profile check
The profile control application is particularly used for the dimensional and geometric verification of the profile of mechanical parts.
It is possible to extract the characteristic dimensions and compare them with a mathematical model or DXF drawing.
Once the profile has been extracted in the form of a point cloud, it is possible to automatically calculate widths, lengths, interaxis, thicknesses and diameters.

Check position and presence of small details
The adoption of a high magnification optical system also allows the inspection of small objects.
Vision systems can be combined with microscopes or high-resolution magnification systems.
Furthermore, it is possible to carry out checks on small parts even with measuring systems based on high-resolution cameras, low-distortion optics or telescopic lenses.
Typical applications are micrometric checks on precision mechanical components, electronic circuits and precision mechanical assemblies.

Check for scratches or visual imperfections
Vision systems can be used to check for scratches, dents, dents or visual imperfections that affect the aesthetic appearance of the final product.
Optical inspection can be performed with matrix cameras or linear cameras.
Special calculation algorithms allow real-time verification of the defect size and distribution on surface units.
On transparent or semi-transparent products it is possible to install backlight illuminators that highlight scratches and dents that could not be seen with other viewing techniques.

Identification of position and orientation of small parts
VISIONCHECK 2000K systems can be used to identify the position and orientation of small mechanical parts for use in automatic assembly systems.
At the same time, selective inspection for quality control and determination of gripping coordinates of ROBOTs or automatic manipulators can be performed.
Automatic orientation control with possible selection of non-compliant parts in terms of shape and/or colour.

15 inch monitor with industrial touch screen
Industrial monitor with touch screen control. High brightness and contrast. Suitable for industrial environments and for applications where high reliability and durability are required. The monitor is mounted on a stand independent of the PC and can be easily and quickly replaced in case of damage.
Fanless and Diskless architecture
The use of the most modern heat dissipation techniques allows the elimination of the cooling fans (both CPU board and internal PC). All data storage and operating system media are based on FLASH SSD. The system is therefore also protected against vibrations or mechanical stress.
LED flasher
Anomaly detector with high brightness LED flashing light. As an option it is also possible to equip the control station with an acoustic siren. The flashing light function can be customized and can manage both warning and alarm conditions.
Tilting or suspension arm support
Tilting mechanical support for adjusting the inclination of the monitor and the controls (possibility of being installed on a table or on a pulpit or on a shelf). Option for connection to swinging arms and overhead control pulpits.
Standard display and control interfaces
The system is based on an industrial embedded PC. So in case of temporary malfunction of the monitor or the touch you can temporarily use a keyboard, a mouse or an office monitor. This solution allows you to continue production even in the event of a temporary malfunction.
Intuitive software developed for machine operators
The software installed on the VISION CHECK 2000 has been specially developed for industrial production applications. The main functions have been collected in easy-to-read synoptics with intuitive screens that can also be managed by non-expert personnel.
Front push button
Front push-button panel for controlling the main system functions without touching the touch screen monitor (cycle start, cycle stop, fault reset, emergency). The operator can therefore also operate with gloves or in the presence of liquid contaminants. The front buttons can also house an emergency button to be connected to the central control panel of the system.
Industrial aluminum container
Painted aluminum container with safety lock for access only to authorized personnel. The container is complete with gaskets that allow the use of the control station even in particularly dusty environments or in the presence of environmental contaminants.
