Optical filters for cameras

Optical filters for cameras and machine vision applications

Complete line of filters, single substrate and with high hardness coating, specially created for industrial machine vision applications.

Filters for vision systems increase the contrast of the object under control, improving the system's ability to distinguish the desired characteristics.

A higher contrast allows a higher inspection precision and higher speed of the inspection system. The effect of the presence of ambient light, or of its possible variation over time, is minimized with the use of filters, thus creating the conditions for a good stability of the operating conditions of the vision system in the long run.

When combined with correct lighting, the optical filter is one of the most important factors to ensure the ability of any vision system to work reliably throughout its life cycle.

A wide range of filters are available, designed for quick and safe mounting on lenses and lenses for CCD and CMOS cameras.

The proposed filters are protected by a coating capable of guaranteeing a long life even in the presence of humidity, heat and vibrations. They have also been designed to withstand repeated cleaning cycles, even with slightly aggressive solvents.

Filters are available both in standard sizes, which can be installed on most lenses on the market, and in special sizes and features.

Typical applications:

  • Selection of predetermined color
  • Suppression of a color
  • Ambient light suppression
  • Selection of light from infrared sources
  • Polarization of light
  • Selection of light from UV sources
  • Reduction of light from unwanted light sources
