The DIGICHECK series multi-dimension measurement systems for dimensional and geometric control allow the measurement and determination of conformity of mechanical parts and discrete objects using objective measurement procedures that can be easily managed even by non-expert personnel.
The innovative architecture on which the DIGICHECK system is based allows the creation of dimensional and geometric test benches (static or dynamic) using readily available equipment and sensors that can be easily modified during the setup phase or directly during production, even by the end customer.
DIGICHECK systems are suitable for measurements directly on the production line and also managed by unqualified personnel. The visualization interface has been deliberately made simple and easy to consult but without giving up the powerful mathematical functions intended for the analysis of dimensional and geometric characteristics.
All production data are stored in a local database with the possibility of transferring or synchronizing with existing databases (SQL, XML or CSV) for a complete and reliable analysis of data in real time.
Measurement of diameters, heights, thicknesses, depths on mechanical parts with traditional bench measuring instruments

The DIGICHECK system allows the measurement of any mechanical part (bushings, rings, flanges, shafts, gears) with traditional manual measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, comparators, bore gauges). It is possible to quickly and reliably acquire measurements of internal diameter, external diameter, height, thickness, width and depth using readily available instruments, at low costs and with decimal, hundredths or thousandths precision. The DIGICHECK system guides the operator through the measurements according to a predetermined sequence and at the end of the procedure provides the control response . All data is archived in a database that allows both real-time analysis of production progress (through trends, histograms and production indices) and analysis of production history through the subdivision into production batches.
Measurement and control of flatness on molded, cut, forged or rectified parts

The DIGICHECK system allows for rapid, on-line measurement of the flatness of stamped, punched, rolled, or die-cast parts . Flatness measurement is performed using a sensor array capable of detecting deviations from a certified calibration master. The test result is a map of the verified areas with the corresponding numerical deviation from the ideal shape. A highly intuitive graphic presentation allows for quick and reliable determination of non-conforming areas . All the data obtained can be used for statistical calculations (Sigma, Cp, Cpk, Cm, Cmk) or for creating control charts (XS, XR, process trend, population distribution).
Flexion, swing and deformation measurement

The DIGICHECK system allows the control of dimensions and positions in space detected by LASER sensors (laser triangulation sensors, laser micrometers or laser distance meters). The dimensions detected by the LASER sensors can be correlated with each other to determine deformations, torsions, bending, and vibrations . The measurement report can be generated in Excel – CSV format or directly in graphical format. The use of EDAC modules allows the correlation of dimensional and geometric information with information derived from temperature, humidity, force, and torque sensors. In this way, it is possible to correlate the dimensional test with thermal excursion data, variations in environmental humidity, or with the forces and torsions involved in the dynamic test.
Radial and axial oscillation measurement (radial and axial runout)

The DIGICHECK system allows the measurement of radial and axial oscillations in real time with non-contact measuring instruments (LASER triangulation sensors and LASER distance meters) . The typical application is the determination of the radial and axial roundout of wheels, tires, rims and wheel hubs . The report can be either numerical or graphical. With the addition of optional mathematical analysis libraries it is possible to perform harmonic analysis of the acquired signal to determine the harmonic composition of the oscillation , from the fundamental to the 32nd harmonic. The software can be installed both on a fixed workstation (desktop personal computer or industrial panel PC) and on a mobile workstation (notebook or tablet).
Roundness, oscillation, cylindricity, profile measurement

The DIGICHECK system, combined with precision dimensional testing benches, allows the geometric characteristics of parts rotated on tailstocks to be determined . It is thus possible to measure diameters, ovality, and oscillations, as well as roundness, cylindricity, and radial profile data of the object (important in applications such as camshaft measurement). The measurement can also be acquired by measuring machines specifically developed for this type of control in the metrology laboratory or on the production line (3D measuring machines, profilometers, optical machines).
Multi-dimensional measuring systems for shape control

The DIGICHECK system allows you to perform shape inspections on objects of any size and material . Shape inspection is performed by comparing them with a reference master , and any discrepancies are quickly and intuitively highlighted. It is possible to generate out-of-tolerance or partial product non-conformity signals. The system can also be installed in robotic inspection areas and unmanned automatic inspection benches . In this configuration, all inspection operations can be controlled directly by a PLC or an automatic production system.
Process control on the production line

The DIGICHECK system allows you to regularly collect values from measuring instruments placed on the production line (LASER micrometers, thermocouples, pressure and flow sensors, LASER thickness gauges). The advanced data logger function allows you to monitor the various physical quantities involved in the production process and generate alarms in the event of out-of-tolerance values. Using the EDAC acquisition modules, it is possible to acquire data from different types of sensors, even those positioned physically very distant from each other as the entire acquisition infrastructure is based on an Ethernet network.
Customized systems for dimensional and geometric control on the production line.
RODER designs and manufactures intelligent control stations with standard or customized measurement software.
Multi-dimensional control stations can be combined with customized support mechanics , probe support systems and special fixings designed specifically for a specific application.

Custom mechanics can be designed directly upon customer request and can include customised mountings or easy attachment points for the part being customised.
The design and construction of customized test benches also allows for interfacing with the production line and with Cartesian manipulators or ROBOTS for the automatic picking and placing of parts directly from the production line.

In addition to the creation of special systems, RODER can also supply simple equipment that allows the creation of semi-automatic test benches for the manual measurement of simple parts ( blocks, bushings, inserts, rings, blades, supports ). These simple equipment allow the measurement of individual dimensions ( thickness, height, width, depth, distances ) with simple operations, directly on board the machine, in the metrology laboratory or in the quality control department.
Custom software

Production trend analysis with multi-dimension systems and real-time statistical control directly on the machine with customized software.
Software that is easy to use even for inexperienced personnel , with customized screens to highlight the parameters that are used most.
Easily viewable GO-NO GO classification, suitable for use even by untrained personnel or those who need to view the inspection results quickly and objectively . The DIGICHECK series software can be installed on embedded control stations or on office PCs. The database can be local or remotely managed on external systems.

Instant analysis of dimensional and geometric parameters. The innovative architecture on which the DIGICHECK series measuring systems are based allows the measurement of all dimensional and geometric parameters of mechanical parts and stamped, die-cast, turned, or sheared pieces . The complete modularity of the acquisition hardware also allows the connection of sensors, transducers, and measuring instruments for non-dimensional inspections (temperature, weight, force, humidity, color, aesthetic appearance).

All systems in the DIGICHECK family can be installed in data acquisition networks and comply with the most modern quality control technologies. In addition to dimensional or geometric data acquisition, DIGICHECK systems can also generate control reports, XR and XS control charts , and interface data with management systems in compliance with Industry 4.0 requirements.
