Some applications of torque measurement products

Technical insight

Torque measurement applications are fundamental in many industrial and manufacturing activities. In fact, accurate torque measurement is essential to ensure the reliability and quality of the final products. In this article, we will analyze four types of instruments used for measuring torque: benchtop torque transducers, cap torque transducers, portable torque transducers and torque wrenches.

Torque measurement with bench torque transducers

Benchtop torque transducers are torque measuring devices that allow you to test different types of products, such as locks, couplings, elastic elements or assembly equipment. These tools usually consist of a base, a torque indicator and a torque sensor. The torque measurement is carried out by applying a force to the test element and reading the value on the indicator.

Height measurement with torque transducers for caps

Cap torque transducers are precision instruments used to measure torque when screwing caps onto glass or plastic bottles. These devices are extremely sensitive and can measure torque with high precision. The measurement is carried out by applying the cap to the test element and reading the torque indicator.

Height measurement with portable torque transducers

Portable torque transducers are compact devices used for measuring torque in a wide range of applications. These tools are usually equipped with a rechargeable battery, a digital display and a range of advanced measurement functions. The measurement is carried out by applying the torque meter to the test element and reading the value on the display.

Height measurement with torque wrenches

Torque wrenches are tools used to measure torque when tightening bolts, nuts and screws. These devices can beep when the correct torque is reached. In this way, torque measurement can be carried out with great precision and reliability.
