Cable and rope tension measurements are carried out with special measuring instruments that allow the evaluation of the tension of the element being tested through the forces exerted on the pulleys supporting the cable or rope.
The tension measurement carried out with this technique allows the survey to be carried out even with the rope in operation and without load detachment.
Cable tensiometers can be supplied with standard calibration , obtained on commercial rope, or with special calibration on non-standard rope.
